Georgia Pre-K Overview

Free, State-Funded Pre-K
Leaping Leap Frogs – (Ages 4-5 yrs)

Your four year old has officially hopped ahead and will soon be ready for grade school. In High Hope Academy’s Leaping Leap Frog Class our teachers will make sure that they are ready to swim in the big pond.

High Hope Academy offers free, state-funded Pre-K to help prepare children for success in Kindergarten.

We are one of the largest Georgia Pre-K providers in the county, meeting strict standards for Pre-K program components, curriculum and assessments, and teacher credentials.

Pre-K Components

The overall goal of the Georgia Pre-Kindergarten program is school readiness. The program emphasizes active learning, consistent daily routines, and the use of positive behavioral management and assessment strategies.

The curriculum includes language and literacy, math concepts, science, social studies, arts, physical development, and social and emotional competence.

Pre-K Program Length & School Year

Georgia Pre-K provides a full 6.5-hour instructional day, 5 days a week, 180 days a year. Extended day services (before- and after-school care) are also available.

Demand often exceeds our available classroom space, so we encourage families to enroll early to secure their slot.

What Parents Say About Us.....

"I definitely give High hope five stars!! I absolutely loved this place for my son. I had to come into town for a week for training and I need a childcare for my one-year-old son which means I haven’t seen the facility in person until the day I showed up. The staff were beyond amazing and sweet the owner was informational and endearing. My son had no issues feeling at home, and I never had any problems picking up or dropping him off highly recommend !! "
